Josh Meloy Live at The Spur Expo in Commerce: November 7

The show

The Spur Expo is the multipurpose arena at East Texas A&M University in Commerce, which opened in March 2026 and has quickly become one of the region's go-to concert rooms between Paris and the DFW metroplex. The November 7 date pairs a Saturday-night headliner with an easy US 82/US 271 drive, and Paris radio stations 99.5 The Wolf and New Country 96.3 have both promoted the show with on-air ticket giveaways, a sign the concert is being marketed directly to the Paris listening area.

Josh Meloy is a Texas country artist known for his songwriting-driven, Red Dirt-style sound, and this arena date is part of his fall 2026 tour. Tickets are available through TheSpurExpo.com; the venue recommends checking the site for the latest availability and any opening acts.

Why it matters for the region

Big-arena country dates that specifically court the Paris market are a useful read on regional leisure demand. When touring acts and radio stations treat Paris as part of their catchment, it reflects the same population and spending growth that underpins commercial investment in Lamar County. For locals, it is simply a strong excuse for a Saturday road trip: dinner in Commerce, a headliner under the lights, and a late drive back to Paris.
