Up Close & Real: Alicia Martin-Moore of Paris Coffee Co., November 18

About the series

Up Close & Real is a Paris community conversation series that puts a local business owner or community leader in front of an audience to tell their story, no script and no filter. The November 18 date features Alicia Martin-Moore of Paris Coffee Co., the downtown coffeehouse on Clarksville Street that anchors one corner of the city's revived historic retail core. Her story is a good window into how a locally owned cafe fits into downtown's recent run of openings and renovations.

The series is listed on the Paris events calendar, which carries the official time and location as the date approaches. These evenings are typically free and open to the public, built for anyone curious about the people behind Paris businesses rather than a formal presentation.

What it means for Paris

A community series that interviews downtown owners in front of a live audience is a direct signal of how invested Paris is in its small-business story. Events like this one raise the profile of the people taking risks on downtown storefronts, which in turn supports the foot traffic, lease demand, and reinvestment that keep the historic core working. For anyone evaluating commercial property in Paris, the enthusiasm behind these conversations is part of the market's intangible value.
