About the jamboree

The Lee Street Jamboree is an annual, free community street party the city of Greenville stages on the third Saturday of September, closing Lee Street to traffic and filling it with live music, food vendors, merchandise booths, and room for families to spread out on the downtown block. It lands on the same weekend as Greenville's Cotton Patch Challenge bike ride, so the downtown is already in festival mode.

Texas country artist Randall King headlines the main stage at 7:00 PM, with the local lineup starting earlier in the afternoon. Opening the jamboree is Dustin Perkins, who takes the stage at 4:30 PM, so early arrivals get a full evening of music before the headliner closes the night.

Getting there from Paris

Greenville sits about 45 minutes southwest of Paris on US 69 and US 380, an easy drive for a Saturday evening out. The event runs 4:00 to 9:30 PM, so families can make an afternoon of it, grab dinner from the vendors, and catch Randall King before heading home. Parking is street and lot based around the downtown, and the free admission keeps the whole outing low-cost.

Plan ahead

Because the jamboree is free and open to the public, no tickets are needed, but the City of Greenville posts the full musical lineup and vendor list on its official event page ahead of the date. Bring lawn chairs or blankets if you want to settle in for the headliner, and check the city page for any schedule updates as the weekend approaches.
