Rich O'Toole Live at Clarksville Country Club: October 17

About the show

Rich O'Toole has spent two decades building a career as an independent Texas country artist, writing and recording his own material and touring the honky-tonks, clubs, and country club shows of the Lone Star State. His catalog leans on road-tested, honest Texas country, the kind of set that works as well in a club as it does on an outdoor lawn stage, which is how this date is billed at Clarksville Country Club.

Clarksville sits about 30 minutes northwest of Paris in Red River County, on the edge of the service area the Shannon Miles Group covers. The club show is listed on Bandsintown's Paris-area concert calendar, which remains the most reliable public feed for regional bookings; set length and any cover are typically confirmed at the door.

Why it matters for the region

A working Texas country artist booking a Saturday show in a smaller town like Clarksville is a reminder that the region's live music scene extends well beyond the arenas in Durant and the rooms on Loop 286. These community shows keep rural county-seat towns alive after dark, supporting country clubs, restaurants, and the small venues that anchor small-town life. For anyone tracking the commercial health of Northeast Texas, the spread of bookings across Red River and Lamar counties is a useful pulse on local demand.
