Dear Iris Live at Buffalo Joe's Pub: October 16

About the show

Buffalo Joe's Pub has become the regular home of original country, Red Dirt, and Americana in Paris, hosting touring acts in a compact room where the stage is close to every seat. Dear Iris is booked for the Friday night slot at 8:00 PM on October 16, the kind of mid-month local show that keeps the Loop 286 music scene humming between the bigger arena dates north of the Red River.

The venue lists the show on its Bandsintown page, which is the most reliable public listing for the room; set length and any cover are typically confirmed at the door. For anyone who caught the recent runs at The Reserve at Cielos or the earlier Buffalo Joe's double-bills in September, this is the same neighborhood circuit, one room over on the same corridor.

Why it matters for Paris

A steady calendar of live music in local rooms is one of the strongest quality-of-life signals a mid-size Texas city can send. Original-music nights draw crowds from across Lamar County, keep the Loop 286 dining and entertainment corridor active after dark, and give the city a reason for residents to stay in town on a Friday instead of driving elsewhere for entertainment.
