Durant Fall Concert Series: Shelby Stone with Jess Woolverton, September 24

About the night

The series is presented by the Durant Area Chamber and hosted by the City of Durant, produced in partnership with local entertainment promoters. It runs every Thursday night from September 17 through October 8, and each date pairs a headliner with an opening guest on the Market Square stage. Shelby Stone brings her blend of country and Americana songwriting, with Jess Woolverton opening the evening.

Because the concerts are free and outdoors, they draw a relaxed crowd of regulars, families, and visitors from across the Red River. Guests should bring their own lawn chairs, leave coolers and large containers at home, and grab dinner from the concessions on site.

Why it matters for Paris

Durant's Market Square series is a reliable short drive north for Paris residents who want a regular live music night, and it is one of several fall entertainment draws within an hour of the property. For anyone weighing the commercial case for 1905 E Price St, the steady flow of regional events like this reinforces the cross-border foot traffic and hospitality energy that support retail and lodging demand across Northeast Texas and southern Oklahoma.
