Happy Trailers Grand Opens New Paris Headquarters
When a company builds a new headquarters instead of renewing a lease, it has decided that Paris is where its future lives.
Happy Trailers celebrated the grand opening of its new 8,434 square-foot headquarters at 55 NE Loop 286 in Paris, Texas, on June 9, 2026. The opening caps exactly one year of construction following a June 2025 groundbreaking and marks the company's permanent relocation to a purpose-built facility on one of Paris's primary commercial corridors.
The facility serves as the operational hub for Happy Trailers' 12 locations across Texas and Oklahoma, offering trailer brands including PJ Trailers, GoodGuys, and MAXX-D, alongside rental services, parts, and maintenance. The new headquarters replaces leased space and provides expanded capacity for inventory display, customer service, and regional logistics coordination.
From groundbreaking to grand opening
The project moved quickly by commercial construction standards. Groundbreaking occurred in June 2025, with structural framing and second-story work progressing through the fall. The building opened on schedule in June 2026, reflecting disciplined project execution and confidence in the market's trajectory. For a company that serves the agricultural, construction, and transportation industries across Northeast Texas, the decision to build rather than lease signals a multi-decade commitment to the Paris market.
The Loop 286 corridor grows
Happy Trailers joins a growing list of businesses establishing or expanding along the Loop 286 corridor. The circumferential highway connects Paris's commercial corridors, industrial parks, and residential neighborhoods, and its northeast segment has attracted companies that need highway visibility, vehicle access, and outdoor display space — attributes that complement but differ from the dense retail core along Lamar Avenue. The diversification of the corridor strengthens the city's overall commercial tax base and expands the economic footprint beyond any single road.
For commercial property investors, the Loop 286 corridor represents a secondary growth zone with its own demand dynamics. As Lamar Avenue fills with national retail brands, businesses with different spatial needs — trailer dealers, equipment yards, fleet operations, flex-office users — are establishing along the loop. Happy Trailers' investment is evidence that this pattern is accelerating.
