About the races
The Dwarf Car Nationals is the Paris stop on the Dwarf Car Racing Series of Texas calendar, listed as CSDCA Race #4 at Rocket Raceway Park. Dwarf cars are compact, full-fendered race cars built on shortened frames around 1250cc motorcycle engines, which keeps speeds lively on small ovals and makes for close, bumper-to-bumper racing that packs a grandstand.
The weekend opens with a practice night on Thursday, October 8. Friday's card pairs the Dwarf Cars with the Offen Petroleum Factory Stocks and the Coston & Son Ready Mix Limited Modified (B-Mod) class, and Saturday's finale brings the main event back to the track. Rocket Raceway Park's standard 2026 race-night pricing has run at $25 general admission for adults, $20 for seniors 62 and older and military with ID, $10 for kids 6-12, free for children under 5, and a $40 pit pass, with small coolers allowed; the track's event sheet is the source to confirm for this weekend.
Why it matters for Paris
Race weekends at Rocket Raceway Park bring fans in from across Northeast Texas and southern Oklahoma, filling the US 82 corridor with visitors who stop for fuel, food, and lodging. For the commercial market, motorsports events are a dependable driver of weekend traffic and hospitality demand, the same quality-of-life calendar energy that keeps Paris competitive as a regional hub.
