Paris Rodeo Parade — Saturday Morning Through Downtown

Parade route

The parade assembles at 9:00 AM behind the Lamar County Courthouse parking lot at 119 N Main Street. At 10:00 AM, the procession heads south on NW 1st Street toward Clarksville Street, turns left onto Clarksville Street to SE 12th Street, turns left onto SE 12th Street for one block to Lamar Avenue, then turns left on Lamar Avenue before dispersing. The route winds through the heart of downtown Paris, passing some of the city's most historic buildings and commercial properties.

Spectators line the entire route, with prime viewing along the courthouse square and the downtown blocks. Bring chairs and arrive early for the best spots. The parade typically runs about an hour and features entries from local businesses, civic organizations, equestrian groups, and the rodeo's own competitors.

A downtown tradition

The rodeo parade is one of downtown Paris's biggest annual events, drawing thousands of spectators into the historic core.
